Gangnam Aesthetic Price Index 2026
Every major aesthetic procedure in Gangnam, one table: the 2026 market range in KRW and USD, the unit it's priced in, and the single factor that moves each price most. Compiled independently — no commissions, no sponsored rows.
Every figure is an advertised market range, not a quote and not a live feed. The median is the midpoint of that range, not a median of transactions — we have no access to what patients actually paid. We publish no sample-size figure because we run no formal sample. We do not collect quotes from clinics, take no commissions and book no appointments.

Market ranges observed across publicly advertised Gangnam pricing, September 2026. Not any single clinic's price list. USD ≈ at 1,350 KRW, rounded.
† The advertised range is open at the top (marked +). The midpoint is taken across the two stated bounds, so the real middle of the market sits somewhat higher.
‡ Advertised only as a "from" price, with no published upper bound. No midpoint can be taken, so none is shown — we would rather leave the cell empty than invent a number.
No sample size is published on this page. We do not run a formal price survey, and we will not print an "n clinics sampled" figure we cannot support. See how price figures are made.
What Western patients actually ask for
According to practicing Gangnam clinicians we have spoken with, the five treatments most requested by Western patients — visitors from the US, Europe and Australia — are: Rejuran skin boosters, Ultherapy Prime (Ulthera guide), Onda Coolwaves (new guide), Thermage, and dermal filler injections. Four of the five are in the tables above; it is a useful shortlist if you are deciding what is actually worth flying for.
Methodology
Ranges are compiled from publicly advertised pricing — clinic menus, event pages and published rate cards across Gangnam — and re-checked at each monthly update. Where a procedure's advertised prices depend heavily on a variable (shot count, product brand, thread count), we report the honest range and name that variable rather than averaging it away. We take no commissions from any clinic, book no appointments, and no row on this page is sponsored.
What the median column is, and what it is not. It is the arithmetic midpoint of the advertised range printed next to it — nothing more. It is not a median of quotes, not a median of transactions, and not an average of what patients paid; we have no access to any of those, and neither does anyone else publishing Korean aesthetic prices in English. Two rows carry no median at all, because they are advertised only as "from" prices and a range with one end open has no midpoint. This is the same definition used in every price box on the site, so a figure here and a figure on a procedure page mean the same thing.
Why there is no sample size. Other price pages in this market print an n next to each figure. We do not, and the reason is that we have not run a survey that would justify one. Publishing a sample size we cannot reconstruct would make these numbers look more rigorous than they are, which is the opposite of what this page is for. What we can tell you is exactly what the figures are built from, when they were last read, and how to correct them — all three are on this page, and the rule is written down in our editorial policy. We would rather be checkable than impressive.
Deeper per-procedure breakdowns, including what headline prices exclude: filler, lip filler, skin boosters & Rejuran, laser toning, Ultherapy.

Price Index — FAQ
How is the Gangnam Aesthetic Price Index compiled?
From publicly advertised Gangnam clinic pricing — published menus, event pages and rate cards — re-checked monthly. Market ranges, not quotes; independent, with no commissions and no sponsored rows.
Why are prices given as ranges rather than exact figures?
The same procedure name covers different products, volumes, shot counts and injector levels. A range plus its price driver tells you more truth than one number — the driver column explains what moves each price.
What does the median column in this price index mean?
It is the midpoint of the advertised range printed beside it — the arithmetic middle of the two numbers, and nothing more. It is not a median of quotes or of what patients actually paid, which is data no English-language publisher of Korean aesthetic prices has. Twenty-five of the 27 line items carry a median; the other two are advertised only as "from" prices, and a range with an open end has no midpoint, so the cell is left empty rather than filled with a guess.
How many clinics were sampled for these figures?
We do not publish a sample size, because we do not run a formal sample. The figures are market ranges read from publicly advertised Gangnam pricing — clinic price pages, public treatment menus and advertised event pricing — not a survey with a countable n. We could print a number here and it would make the page look more rigorous, but we could not stand behind it, so we do not. What is checkable instead: the source type, the as-of month, the update cycle and a corrections address, all shown above.
What exchange rate do the USD figures use?
1 USD ≈ 1,350 KRW, rounded for readability. For planning only — clinics charge in KRW.
How current are the figures in this price index?
The index carries 27 procedure line items and was last reviewed in September 2026. Every figure is an advertised market range compiled from publicly advertised Gangnam clinic pricing — not a quote, not a live feed, and not a clinic-supplied rate card. Gangnam Clinic Guide takes no commissions and books no appointments.
Sources
Prices in this index come from clinic-published pricing, not from a regulator. The device and product names in the table, however, are checkable at source: devices used in Korea are approved or certified by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety by risk class, and most of the branded devices and fillers named here also carry a U.S. FDA record that anyone can open by brand name. That is the honest division of labour on this page — we can show you what the market advertises, and we can point you at the records that tell you whether the thing being advertised is the thing you think it is.
- U.S. Food and Drug Administration — Premarket Approval (PMA) database. The FDA describes PMA as "the FDA process of scientific and regulatory review to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of Class III medical devices". Hyaluronic-acid dermal fillers are approved through this route. accessdata.fda.gov — PMA
- U.S. Food and Drug Administration — 510(k) and De Novo device databases. Free, searchable clearance and classification records for energy-based aesthetic devices. accessdata.fda.gov — 510(k)
- Ministry of Food and Drug Safety, Republic of Korea — Medical Devices: Approval Process. Korea's device regulator. Devices are classified by risk; Class III and IV devices are approved by MFDS itself, under the Medical Device Act (Law No. 6909, in force since 30 May 2004). mfds.go.kr (English)
Every record listed above was opened directly at the issuing agency and its content confirmed on September 12, 2026 — links are given so you can repeat the check rather than take our word for it. U.S. FDA records describe United States regulatory status only; treatment performed in Korea is governed by Korean approvals issued by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety. Nothing in this list is medical advice or an endorsement of any product or clinic.
