What moves the price — and what quotes hide
Shot count is the whole game. The FLX tip is a disposable with a fixed number of pulses; 900 shots covers the full face with proper stacking, 600 covers less or thinner passes. A cheap quote is usually a smaller tip, not a discount. Commonly excluded from headline prices: VAT (10%), numbing or sedation (Thermage is the one lifting device where comfort measures matter), and design/consultation fees — the gap to the final bill is often ₩100,000–200,000.
The substitution trap: quotes far below range usually mean a different monopolar RF device or RF microneedling (Morpheus8, Potenza) sold under a "Thermage-style lifting" banner. Different depth, different result. Ask the device and tip by name, and ask to see the tip counter before it starts.

Thermage cost in Korea — FAQ
How much does Thermage cost in Korea?
In Gangnam, genuine Thermage FLX full face (around 900 shots) runs about 1,300,000-2,500,000 KRW ($960-1,850) in 2026. Eye-area (450 shots) and 600-shot face programs cost less; body tips cost more. The price driver is the tip shot count.
Why is Thermage so much cheaper in Korea than the US?
US quotes for Thermage FLX commonly run $3,000-5,000 for the face. Korean clinics run the same genuine device at higher patient volume and lower margins, so face programs land around $960-1,850. The device and disposable tips are the same - volume economics differ.
What does a Thermage quote in Korea usually exclude?
Commonly excluded: VAT (10%), numbing cream or sedation, and consultation/design fees. Ask for the all-in total in writing, and confirm the exact tip (FLX 600 vs 900 shots) the quote covers.
How do I know it's genuine Thermage FLX?
Ask the device and tip by name and to see the tip's shot counter. A 'Thermage' quote far below market range is usually a different RF device or RF microneedling sold under a lifting banner - a different treatment, not a discount.
What is the median Thermage price in Gangnam as of September 2026?
As of September 2026, genuine Thermage FLX full face (about 900 shots) is advertised in Gangnam at ₩1,300,000–₩2,500,000, with a midpoint of about ₩1,900,000 (roughly USD 960–1,850, midpoint USD 1,400). The figures are compiled from publicly advertised Gangnam clinic pricing by tip shot count, not from quotes collected from clinics.

Thermage is monopolar radiofrequency, and it reached the U.S. market by a different route from the injectables on this site: the ThermaCool System was cleared through the FDA's 510(k) pathway (K033942, decided 4 February 2004, "Substantially Equivalent"), classified under 21 CFR 878.4400 as an electrosurgical cutting and coagulation device, with the ThermaCool NXT following as K090580 in 2009. That history is the reason the genuine-tip question matters so much in Gangnam: the clearance attaches to the system and its consumables, and a device advertised as "RF tightening" is not automatically the cleared system. In Korea, radiofrequency devices are approved separately by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety.
